3 Blondes & a Bald Guy is a Chicago based, interdisciplinary, collaborative art group comprised of artists Jackie Capozzoli, Erin Cramer, Haley Nagy and curator Stephen DeSantis.

MEMBER BIOGRAPHIES:

Jackie Capozzoli is a painter at heart whose recent endeavors have been in the form of performance and installation art. She is a true “jack of all trades”, producing work in a variety of means, including murals, videography, set design, and illustration. Jackie earned her BFA from Columbia College Chicago in 2010 and lives and works in Chicago, IL.   www.jackiecapozzoli.com

After ten years of world travel as a tour director, Erin Cramer decided to move back to Chicago, pursue an art career, and maybe even get a cat. She works in a variety of mediums including hand papermaking, bookbinding, sculpture, and painting. Erin has exhibited nationally and internationally. She has work in several public and private collections including The Flat Iron Press in New Orleans, The Kansas City Art Institute, and The Joan Flasch Collection at The Art Institute of Chicago. Erin received her MFA in Interdisciplinary Book & Paper Arts at Columbia College Chicago in 2009. She currently teaches art workshops around Chicago, plays bluegrass banjo, and has four cats. www.erincramerart.com

Haley Nagy is an artist who creates paintings, works on paper, textiles, artist books and prints. Encaustic paint and handmade paper are her mediums of choice. A native of Fort Worth, TX, Haley graduated from Texas Christian University in 2005 with a degree in Art History. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Interdisciplinary Book & Paper Arts from Columbia College Chicago. Haley resides in Chicago, IL with her husband, composer Zvonimir Nagy.  www.haleynagy.com

After twenty-six years of commercial photography in New York, Stephen DeSantis moved to Chicago to study, teach, and get back to making art. He received his MFA in Interdisciplinary Book & Paper Arts in 2008 at Columbia College Chicago. Between adventures exploring the mid-west, he letterpress prints, curates exhibitions and readings, teaches alternative photo processes and makes artists’ books from his original short stories and photographs. Some of Stephen’s artists’ books have been exhibited at the Seoul International Artists’ Book Fair and the Frankfurt International Book Fair, and are included in the Joan Flasch Artists’ Book Collection, the University of Iowa Library Special Collection, and several private collections.  www.stephenadesantis.com
