SOFA Chicago through November 7

It comes once a year and it is not to be missed, every time. SOFA Chicago, going on at Navy Pier through November 7, is an expo of sculptural objects and functional art, exhibiting galleries from around the world.
In addition to the 70 or so galleries representing some of the best sculptural artists available, there is also a glass blowing studio ( yes, an actual glass blowing studio!), a lecture series, a resource area, and several special exhibits, specifically the Intuit Show of Outsider Art.
Here are a few pictures of works noted from last night’s opening reception. Of particular note is the work of Monica Guggisberg & Philip Baldwin with the David Richard Contemporary Gallery.
