Description: Enjoy a moveable feast of public art galleries and exhibits in Chicago’s downtown Loop. A collaborative initiative of the Chicago Loop Alliance and the Chicago Artists’ Coalition, this series of temporary art exhibitions in empty storefronts creates new uses for old spaces and presents Chicago’s diverse pool of photographers, sculptors, 2D artists, film and video makers, new media artists, installation artists and more.
Check out the Pop-Up gallery at 240 S. State Street for PRINTS: Paschke and his Coast to Coast Contemporaries, artists from California to Chicago to N.Y. This exhibition features works on paper by friends and colleagues of world-renowned Chicago Imagist Ed Paschke. Artists include Richard Hull, Robert Lostutter, Ellen Lanyon, Phyllis Bramson, Jim Nutt and many others.
