Title: Life is Unpredictable: Films by Jonas Mekas at the Chicago Underground Film Festival

Description: Jonas Mekas’ work as a filmmaker, curator, and critic has justifiably earned him the title “godfather of American avant-garde cinema.” The screening will feature eight of his films, four to twenty-three minutes in length, and Jonas Mekas will be present for questions and answers afterwards.Tickets to movies are $10 general admission, $7 students, $4 for students and faculty of the School of the Art Institute, $5 Film Center members.
