Description: Consider how architecture impacts its environment when you visit this public installation of a Frank Gehry reproduction. Temporarily relocating world-famous architecture in an empty lot on Chicago’s west side, artist Nick Bastis explores symbolism in architecture and its influence on surrounding environments.. The project explores ways in which perceptions of a structure may be altered when positioned in a new environment. The artist invites the public to an unveiling modeled after previous Gehry opening ceremonies.
