Location: National Museum of Mexican Art, 1852 W. 19th Street
Description: Explore Pilsen, a neighborhood famous for its extraordinary outdoor murals depicting the history and culture of the community. Arrive at the National Museum of Mexican Art and begin with a tour of this year’s Day of the Dead Exhibition, “Vida Breve,” followed by a brief demonstration by Mexican folk artisans. The art tour continues outside in the Pilsen neighborhood and will feature stops to view murals by Statik, Alejandro Medina, Francisco Mendoza and others.
