Beth Emery was born in New York, has lived in a wide variety of states, cities, and towns, and currently divides her time, life, and geographical source of artistic inspiration between Chicago, IL and Tampa, FL. Beth’s paintings are inspired by, and reactions to, the world around her. Her vivid use of color, shape and figure are deliberate, yet uninhibited by constraints or rules. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Studio Art. She has been commissioned to paint illustrations for a Veterinary Science manual and has participated in over 30 fine art shows that have placed or earned awards. She is a founding member of The Disco Dolls Studio, a fashion, hair, and art studio. Emery’s work can be found in public and private collections.
