Title: Art Here Art Now featuring Melissa Weber

Description: Visit transformed storefront spaces on East 53 Street where the notion of the inaccessible, solitary artist is demystified. The Hyde Park Alliance for Arts and Culture (HyPa) and the University of Chicago collaborate with Melissa Weber and other south side artists and arts organizations to create window art installations and studios that invite the public to engage with the artistic process and visit with working artists. The non-traditional exhibition space also hosts several public programs with intent to examine the day-to-day practice of making art and the impact of this activity in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Artists include Melissa Weber, Marty Burns, Andre Callot, Cydney M. Lewis, Danielle Paz and Peter Zeigler.
